We like to trek on our own without a rigid timetable.  You can then do your own thing, staying on if you like a place or moving on if necessary as it is here.

As we were leaving Gokyo I turned and took this photo of Cho Oyu
(8153m) with Gokyo village to the right of the lake. 

It was Friday 30th March 2001 and the intense cold and the altitude had become
too much so we were heading out to Namche and Jiri.

We had started this trip at Tumlingtar on 23rd February and we finished in Jiri on the 10th April.
